FESTIVAL SPECTACULAR AND EXTRORDINARY GUEST FROM USA/MIAMI

This year on May 7-9 in Vilnius, the lovers of cultural events will have a wonderful opportunity to dip into the Oriental fairytale of one thousand and one nights. For the first time the capital will host the II International Oriental Dance Festival „MOZAIKA 2010“, as well as the III International Oriental Dance Contest „Baltijos taurė 2010“ (The Baltic Cup) already known and loved by the Vilnius citizens.
During the Festival you will be able to see an impressive Gala concert that will take place on May 8 at 20:00 in the Vilnius Polish Culture House. The professional dancers and choreographers from USA, Byelorussia, Ukraine, Poland, Russia, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania will demonstrate their mastery and skills of the Oriental dance.
Those who visit the Gala will have an opportunity to get various goods and costumes at the Oriental fair. The fair will gather many Festival sponsors that will present their products at fair prices. The fair’s working hours from 12:00 till 22:00, on May 9 – from 10:00 till 18:00 in the foyer of the Vilnius Polish Culture House.
The second day of the Festival, May 9, from 12:00 till 18:00 will be marked by the III International Oriental Dance Contest „Baltijos taurė 2010“ in which the dancers from different countries, such as Latvia, Estonia, Ukraine, Byelorussia, Russia, Poland and Lithuania, will participate. The dancers will compete in the amateur and professional nominations.
The Festival takes place once a year.
